Benjamin Civiletti, attorney general during the Carter presidential administration, spoke to an audience at the Heritage Foundation on a recent efforts to question career prosecutors in the Department of Justice. He argues that such initiatives on the part of Congress to interrogate prosecutors in the Justice Department violates the separation of powers between the three branches of the federal government.
