Howard University Divinity Professor Cain Hope Felder and Reverend H. Beecher Hicks spoke in a forum during the National Urban League meeting on the role of the black church in African-American community development. The speakers discussed the role of the church in the economic, social, and political spheres of African-American communities and how the black church may influence public policies concerning the problems existing in urban communities.
