Topics discussed included coordination of the aid and US assistance in weapons dismantlement and disarmament. State Department Advisor on the Former Soviet Republics Strobe Talbott briefly described the state of reform and it’s complexity. President Clinton asked the Congress to pass funding legislation following his meeting with President Yeltsin during the G-7 Summit. close
