Atomic Heritage Foundation founder and president Cynthia Kelly recounted her efforts to preserve a site in Los Alamos, New Mexico, associated with the Manhattan Project’s July 1945 Trinity nuclear test. The “Gadget” was the plutonium device detonated in the test. It was developed at the V-Site in Los Alamos, New Mexico, as part of the Manhattan Project to research and develop the world’s first nuclear weapons during World War II. The Atomic Heritage Foundation hosted this talk and provided the video. close
