Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) received the COVID-19 vaccine at Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin. He was joined by Texas Department of State Health Services Commissioner Dr. John Hellerstedt, who also received the vaccine. At the start, Governor Abbott delivered brief remarks saying the state was on pace to distribute more than 1 million doses of the vaccine by the end of the month. close
