General Gustave Perna, Operation Warp Speed chief operating officer and Dr. Moncef Slaoui, Operation Warp Speed chief scientific adviser, provided an update on coronavirus vaccine development and distribution. Dr. Slaoui discussed various vaccine trials and when he hopes additional COVID-19 vaccines will be made available to the public. General Perna explained a lag in data reporting accounted for lower vaccine distribution numbers than the Trump administration promised by the end of the year.
