Washington Governor Jay Inslee (D) held a briefing on the state’s response to the coronavirus and vaccine distribution. He announced a new plan that would allow certain regions of the state to re-open based on case data metrics and a decrease in hospitalizations. When a region achieves a set of metrics, it would move on to the next phase of reopening. Governor Inslee also discussed the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine, coronavirus pandemic stimulus relief, and the importance to continued adherence to virus mitigation efforts. close
