Georgia Democratic U.S. Senate Candidate Raphael Warnock Remarks

Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Raphael Warnock gave remarks on the election results in Georgia’s U.S. Senate runoff election against Senator Kelly Loeffler (R-GA). He told the people of Georgia he was honored by the faith they put in him and that he was going to the Senate for all of Georgia. Mr. Warnock is the first Georgia Democrat elected to the Senate in 20 years and the state’s first Black U.S senator. This special runoff election along with the runoff election between Jon Ossoff and incumbent Senator David Perdue gave majority control of the U.S. Senate to Democrats when Mr. Warnock and Mr. Ossoff both won. close
