William Evanina, director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center, discussed U.S. intelligence priorities and the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. He said law enforcement and the security community must be held accountable as well as the perpetrators. Other topics of discussion included the recent cyberattack on federal agencies and private sector, 2020 election security, and social media regulations. When asked about COVID-19 vaccine distribution, Mr. Evanina said he was concerned about threats posed by China and Russia to disrupt the U.S. coronavirus supply chain. close
