Vice President Mike Pence participated in a security briefing for Inauguration Day. Homeland Security, FBI, Secret Service, and National Guard officials outlined some of their plans to keep the event secure and safe. FBI Director Christopher Wray said the agency would remain in an aggressive posture through Inauguration Day. He added that investigators had identified more than 200 suspects in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. He also said that the FBI was tracking suspects still at large as well as anyone planning violence leading up to inauguration. close
