The White House Coronavirus Task Force held a briefing to announce updates to the Biden administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. Jeff Zients, coordinator of the task force, announced the administration would increase its vaccine distribution to 11 million doses per week to states, tribes, and territories. He also announced a partnership with local community centers across the country to provide vaccines to under-served communities. Also participating in the briefing was Marcella Nunez-Smith, who leads the administration’s Health Equity Task Force. close
