President Biden met with Republican and Democratic senators in the Oval Office to discuss infrastructure policy. He spoke about the need for an infrastructure package and said the issue in nonpartisan. He also addressed his recent phone call with Chinese President Xi Jinping and said the U.S. must compete with China on infrastructure. He also commented on the impeachment trial of former President Trump saying, “My guess is some minds may have been changed” after the previous day’s arguments from House impeachment managers. close
