Speaking to reporters, the president said new infrastructure would create jobs and make the U.S. “more competitive around the world if we have the best infrastructure in the world.” He also said he had been speaking to House and Senate Republicans about passing the $1.9 trillion coronavirus pandemic relief package, the American Rescue Plan Act. close
