The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee held a hearing to examine electric grid reliability, resiliency, and affordability in the wake of recent power outages in Texas and California. The committee heard from representatives from Western Area Power Administration, Hunt Energy Network, PJM Interconnection, and Environmental Progress. Before the hearing began, the committee unanimously approved the nomination of David Turk to be deputy energy secretary. close
