Intel Corporation and Ford Motor Company executives and other manufacturing industry leaders testified at a Senate Finance Committee hearing on the impact of the U.S. tax code on manufacturing. Lawmakers questioned the witnesses about the need to strengthen domestic supply chains, the impact of a lower U.S. corporate tax rate, research and development investment tax deductions, and other tax incentives for manufacturing companies. National Association of Manufacturers president and CEO Jay Timmons also testified at the hearing. close
