Rodriquez, a consolidated case challenging the constitutionality of a California requirement that charitable non-profits disclose their big donors' names to the attorney general for oversight purposes. The law requires that non-profits report donors who have given $5,000 or more a year. In addition, for certain non-profits meeting special criteria, donors who have given more than 2 percent of the total contributions to that organization are to be reported.

The Supreme Court heard oral argument in Americans for Prosperity v. Rodriquez, a consolidated case challenging the constitutionality of a California requirement that charitable non-profits disclose their big donors' names to the attorney general for oversight purposes.
