Former President Barack Obama spoke about the lasting impact of passing the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in 2010. In the virtual event hosted by Protect Our Care, the former president spoke about how the newly-passed American Rescue Plan Act builds on the success of the ACA and expands health care coverage to 1.3 million more Americans. Health care activists also participated in the event and spoke about the importance of grassroots advocacy and lobbying elected officials to continue to fight for expanded coverage. close
