U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Linda Thomas-Greenfield spoke to reporters following her time serving as Security Council president for the month of March. Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield discussed her diplomatic efforts involving racial equity and increasing women’s participation in peace talks. In addition, she outlined the U.N. Security Council’s recent actions on Yemen and South Sudan. Following her opening statement, Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield answered reporters' questions on Myanmar, North Korea, Syria, and U.S. relations with Russia and China. close
