On November 4, 1979, Iranian students stormed the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, taking more than 50 Americans hostage - holding them for 444 days. Former hostages Barry Rosen and John Limbert recalled the siege as well as their captivity, and discussed the impact the crisis had on future U.S. relations with Iran. They were joined by Gary Sick, former National Security Council staff member during the Ford, Carter, and Reagan administrations. The State University of New York, Maritime College hosted this event and provided the video. close
