The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum hosted an online panel discussion titled, “How Did Young Americans Respond to the Nazi Threat?”

Museum historians Edna Friedberg and Rebecca Erbelding were joined by University of Michigan doctoral candidte Leila Braun to discuss reactions during the 1930s and 1940s, and various efforts to help Jews escape Europe. The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum provided the video for this program. close
