Representative Mike Gallagher (R-WI) participated in a discussion on supply chain vulnerability hosted by the Woodrow Wilson Center. Representative Gallagher spoke about the importance of securing the U.S. supply chain against potential future disruptions from China. He pointed to issues the U.S. encountered during the coronavirus pandemic and said there was bipartisan support in Congress to ensure the strength of the U.S. supply chain in the future by partnering with ally countries and exploring other options for access to rare earth minerals. close
