Former Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf joined a cyber expert to discuss the SolarWinds hack in a virtual event hosted by the Heritage Foundation. The two also discussed what can be done to prevent future cyber attacks and how information sharing between the public and private sectors could help. The 2020 cyber breach impacted multiple U.S. federal agencies. Officials indicated that hackers had access to U.S. data for several months. close
