Educational television pioneer Albert Burke hosts a broadcast exploring the causes of the Cuban Revolution. He argues that poverty, racism, and economic exploitation by U.S. corporate interests in pre-revolutionary Cuba led to the popularity of Fidel Castro, who promised to make life better for peasants. Mr. Burke also contends that until the problems of racism and poverty are faced, communism will grow in popularity. close
