Architect of the Capitol Inspector General Christopher Failla testified before the House Administration Committee on the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. He answered questions on emergency preparedness, coordination among U.S. Capitol agencies, and security accountability. When Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) asked about when the last time the agency held emergency training to handle civil unrest and mass shootings, Mr. Failla said he could not find anything past February 2019, which was for sheltering in place due to a severe weather event. close
