President Biden delivered a statement on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the ceasefire agreement. Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire to end 11 days of conflict. President Biden said the United States is committed to working with the United Nations to provide humanitarian assistance. He also thanked his team as well as Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for assisting with the agreement. He took no questions from reporters. The remarks were delivered in Cross Hall at the White House. close
