From the site of the G-7 summit in Cornwall, England, President Biden announced the U.S. would donate half a billion Pfizer vaccines to over 92 low to middle-income countries that were in “dire need” to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The president stressed that these vaccine doses were being given “with no strings attached,” arguing they were meant “to save lives.” Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla joined the president for the announcement. close
