Ethel Rosenberg was executed by the U.S. government in June of 1953, with her husband Julius, for working to give nuclear secrets to the Soviet Union at the height of the Cold War. Anne Sebba, author of Ethel Rosenberg: An American Tragedy, told how the mother of two came to be convicted of espionage charges. Gramercy Books hosted this virtual event. close
