Following House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) rejection of Representatives Jim Banks (R-IN) and Jim Jordan (R-OH) from serving on the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy announced Republicans would not participate. Representatives Banks and Jordan both voted to challenge certification of President Joe Biden’s electoral win.
