Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said he didn’t always agree with the late Senator Carl Levin (D-MI), but said he had a “beautiful, detail-oriented approach” to legislation. Senator McConnell said that he admired Senator Levin’s courage in defense of the Senate filibuster and Senate rules. Senator Levin died on July 29 at aged 87. close
