Participants in a news conference sponsored by the American Medical Women’s Association discussed the president’s health care reform plan suggesting that they are encouraged by the specific references to women’s health in the president’s plan. They went on to illustrate the additional changes in the current system that will be necessary to bring women’s health to an equal plane with that of men.
