House Democrats from the Administration Subcommittee on Elections released a report on voting rights marking the 56th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Subcommittee Chair G.K. Butterfield (D-NC) outlined the report’s findings, which he said detailed efforts from some communities to make it more difficult for certain groups to vote.
