Representatives Charles Rangel (D-New York) and Joseph Kennedy (D-Massachusetts) called a news conference to encourage the U.S. to lead a force in an “invasion” of Haiti to reinstate President Jean Bertrand Aristide as the leader of the island country. The call for an invasion comes following the assassination of the minister of Justice by the military presently leading the country. close
