During a speech he gave in Queens, New York, President Biden spoke about the need to address climate change and investment in infrastructure. Before speaking to the crowd, the president toured parts of the neighborhood that were damaged by flood waters caused by the remnants of Hurricane Ida, which was a tropical storm when it hit the Northeast. The president was joined by New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D), New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D), Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D), and members of the New York congressional delegation. close
