Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) challenged the efficacy of the various COVID-19 vaccinations and argued strongly against vaccine mandates. He showed a chart comparing deaths after taking a flu vaccine versus after taking the COVID-19 vaccines. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) then also spoke against vaccine mandates, and he attempted to bring up a bill allowing people to opt out of vaccine mandates. Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) blocked Senator Lee’s request, explaining his reasons for objecting, before Senator Lee returned to continue to argue his point. close
