The House voted 229-202 to hold Steve Bannon in contempt of Congress for his failure to respond to a subpoena and testify before the January 6 Select Committee on its investigation into the attack on the U.S. Capitol. Nine Republicans voted “yes” with all Democrats. The resolution was then to be sent to the Department of Justice for further action. close
