House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said the Democrats and President Biden were making “great progress” in negotiations over spending levels for the administration’s “Build Back Better” proposal, adding the party would meet a deadline to reach a framework for a deal. She also answered several questions about sticking points between Democrats, including raising the corporate tax rate, child care tax credit and climate change proposals.
