British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced further military aid to Ukraine before answering questions from members of the House of Commons. Labour Party Leader Keir Starmer criticized the prime minister for what he perceived to be a lack of severity in the sanctions the British government levied against Russia for their invasion of a sovereign country. The opposition leader urged Prime Minister Johnson to have the country’s media regulator Ofcom review the broadcast license for RT (Russia Today), calling the Russian state-controlled television network a “personal propaganda tool” of Russian President Putin. Other topics discussed were flood mitigation, economic investment, traffic safety, and crime. close
