During a special session of the British House of Commons, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson condemned Russian President Vladimir Putin for the invasion of Ukraine. The prime minister said, “I’m driven to conclude that Putin was always determined to attack his neighbor, no matter what we did. Now we see him for what he is: a blood-stained aggressor who believes in imperial conquest.” Prime Minister Johnson also announced a new round of economic sanctions to be levied against Russia, which target trade and Russian banks. close
