At a news conference, Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S. Oksana Markarova said that Ukrainians would resist Russia’s invasion and urged other countries to continue their support through military aid and economic sanctions against Russia. Speaking from the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, D.C., Ambassador Markarova said, “Only our united steps can stop Vladimir Putin and Russian Federation from this attack on Ukraine from this war, but also from attacking anyone else in the free world.” close
