Former U.S. government and military officials discussed Ukraine’s military capabilities as Russia shifted its invasion to Ukraine’s eastern Donbas region. Other topics included U.S. security assistance to Ukraine, missile strikes and the sinking of a Russian warship by Ukrainian forces, and China’s role in resolving the conflict. The Atlantic Council hosted the virtual conversation. William Taylor, a former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine from 2006 to 2009, and General Philip Breedlove, a former NATO Supreme Allied Commander, were among the panelists. close
