Representative Colin Allred (D-TX) was the keynote speaker at the 2022 Liberty and Justice Celebration held by the Iowa Democratic Party in the state capital of Des Moines. He spoke about Democratic efforts to protect voting rights and some of the Biden administration’s legislative accomplishments in 2021. He also encouraged attendees to support Democrats running in Iowa’s state elections in 2022, noting the party’s slim majorities in the U.S. House and Senate. close
