The Senate voted 86-11 to approve the House-passed $40 billion Ukraine aid bill. Members also blocked a $48 billion COVID-19 relief bill for restaurants, gyms, and other businesses, and voted to limit debate on Stephanie Davis' nomination to be a U.S. Circuit Court judge for the Sixth Circuit. The Senate adjourned briefly and returned shortly afterward so as to begin a new legislative day, thus allowing the Senate to bring to fast-track a House-passed bill on gas price gouging. close
