Attorney General Merrick Garland announced a group of investigators to review the law enforcement response to the mass school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. The attorney general said the federally-appointed team would conduct a wide range of interviews and visit the site to assess what happened that day and then release a public report on its findings. He also commented on the arrest of an armed man outside the home of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh saying it is “behavior we will not tolerate.” close
