On this viewer call-in, Jamie Dupree discussed the day’s debate on the Senate floor concerning the Senate Ethics Committee’s subpoena of Senator Bob Packwood’s (R-OR) diaries. The committee wished to review the diaries as part of its investigation of Senator Packwood for alleged sexual misconduct. The Senator wanted a third party to decide which portions of his diary must be submitted as evidence. Mr. Dupree also discussed the charges against Senator Packwood. close
