NASA unveiled the very first images from the James Webb Space Telescope showing galaxies from 13 billion years ago. President Biden said the images show, “a new window into the history of our universe.” NASA Administrator Bill Nelson explained the purpose of capturing such images is to help identify other habitable galaxies.
