Policy advocates, industry stakeholders, and government officials testified at a Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Subcommittee on Communications, Media, and Broadband hearing on the future of commercial spectrum for broadband and telecommunications. The witnesses all urged Congress to extend the Federal Communications Commission’s spectrum auction authority in order for the U.S. to remain a global leader in communications innovation.
