President Biden signed an executive order aimed at protecting access to reproductive care in the wake of the Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade. Speaking to the newly created task force of Cabinet members including Vice President Harris, Attorney General Merrick Garland, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough, and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, President Biden promised to take all available actions to protect reproductive health care access. close
