President Biden spoke about cancer research and making the U.S. a global leader in biomedical technology, development, and production while outlining his cancer “moonshot” initiative. In his remarks given at the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum, he referenced former President Kennedy’s famous “moonshot” speech from exactly 60 years ago that promised to put a U.S. astronaut on the moon. President Biden also named Renee Wegrzyn to be the first director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health, often referred as ARPA-H. close
