Reps. Terri Sewell (D-AL) and G.K. Butterfield (D-NC) joined advocates to discuss voting rights for people of color at Washington, D.C.'s convention center. The event, which was hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and moderated by journalist Roland Martin, consisted of activists from the NAACP, Southern Poverty Law Center, and other organizations. Eric Holder, former attorney general in the Obama administration, addressed the event via prerecorded video. close
