SpaceX’s Crew-5 launched from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center en route to the International Space Station, where they would conduct experiments in microgravity. The four crew members--two NASA astronauts, one JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut, and one Russian cosmonaut--lifted off a Falcon 9 rocket and were aboard the Crew Dragon Endurance capsule. The mission is expected to last six months and return Crew-4 astronauts following a handover at the station. close
